This could easily be mistaken for Oregon but its not. This
section
of the road has a few gentle, slow curves, but its generally 30 MPH.
Unlike
Mount Hamilton Road, there are not any 3 MPH abrupt curves and the road
is a wide two lanes, not a narrow two lanes.
This area has species of pine trees not found in any other part of
California.

This is a close up of a grove of trees.

This is a little further east.

This is probably Sugarloaf Mountain (2798'.)
There are a few houses and ranches out here, but not many.
