An old windmill and an old barn in Grant Ranch. There is a brief 45 mile per hour stretch in the middle of the park. It doesn't last long.
This is one of the foothills that forms the East San José Skyline.
Peeking out over the yellow foothills are Rattlesnake Butte (3460') to the right and Mt. Day (3869') is to the left. This is near the Western boundary of the park. Soon the road reaches a crest, where you can clearly see the valley again.
