These photos are of 49 North from Auburn to Nevada City, and were taken by Trevor Carrier on 7/28/2007. This first set is of North Hwy 49 from Auburn to Nevada City. Most of it is high speed two lane highway with a 65 MPH expressway section that goes about six miles. 49 runs along much of the Sierra Foothills and it is a very long state highway for California. I have been on 49 but not this particular section so I can't add commentary myself.
