Interstate 80 East in Ohio
These are all from Kevin Weed in March 2016. I have not been on this
section of I80 myself. I-80 In Ohio runs as the Turnpike through the
majority of the state until it hits I-76 west of Youngstown in eastern
Ohio (where I-76 then becomes the turnpike for what's left of Ohio then
continues through Pennsylvania as the Pennsylvania Turnpike), which is
where I picked up 80 on this particular trip. Where you pick up 80 from
I-76 is where you see the first mention of New York City although, I-80
technically stops short of the Big Apple in New Jersey, just across the
Hudson River from the Bronx.
Mile 223 Niles
Mile 227 Girard. Youngstown and its suburbs is really the last Metro
area that I-80 will go through till New Jersey.
